Cable Wireless Transmitter?

In my apartment there is no cable jack in my room. Therefore to get cable in my room I need to put a splitter in the living room and run a hard coax to my bedroom. Do they make a device where I could hook up a transmitter to the splitter in the living room and then hook up a receiver to my tv?
