Any other parents have an easy first child but a difficult second one?

I mean in forms of temperment, health etc. My daughter was soooooo easy. She slept through the night right away, was never sick, talked early and pretty much gave us no trouble. Then my son came along he had colic and need to be held almost 24 hours a day. He had delays and needed occupational and physical therapy. He was in the hospital twice before turning two. I tell my wife if our daughter was anything like our son she would be an only child. I think that is a big reason we my does not want three anymore. I always wanted to but I know she was hoping to sway me to three. Shortly after he arrived she said two was fine with her. Achilles Surgery - Post Surgery Injury?

I think you're just being paranoid. You should start thinking rationally and perhaps list down why and when these fears came about. It is good that you feel guilty about your act and honorable if you take responsibility. If I were the store owner I would be happy that you came forward and would not take any further action. Sin is far reaching and affects all of us. That item causes the cost of other items to go up or is covered by taxes which also raises our taxes. So many justify what they do by thinking it is a corporation and no humans are involved. What they fail to realize is that there are many involved. These things affect salaries and stock holders as well or cost may get ped down to the customer. Many stock holders are retired and depend on a stores success for their retirement. Many stores have closed down recently here due to a bad economy. Had their income been up they may have survived the down swing. Stealing is just plain wrong.

It got so bad that he didn't know how to differ life between his dreams. Back to the subject though; I don't know what answer you're looking for in specific. I think you want someone to confirm to you that your dreams are real? or such. I think how you perceive things/ideas is the only thing that will reure your thoughts. You could either see this as a dream. Or go crazy about it like a loony and keep on wondering. You should not let this get in the way of you're relationship. I recommend you stop obsessing over it. It's quite eerie.

Have Prisons Become Big Business?

There are 2.2 million people in prison in the USA as I type this. I went to prison in Okla-COMA for 20 months. I was guilty and I had to pay the price of my crime. Being there and not looking from a cops point of view, nor someone that hasn't done any time, the prison system is bad. It is not the answer. To warehouse people. I was in a min., prison. Mostly DWI, drugs and hot check writers. You can't expect anyone to come out as a new and improved person, it doesn't work that way. You are beaten down emotionally and mentally. Putting up with all the noise and lity. People screaming at each other and just total choas 24-7. People still ume that people get free education in prison.Your family has to pay for your college not the state.... dah... If you can't read or have your high school diploma - then you will before you get out. Thinking that this is going to make people hire ex - convicts. The stigma that our society puts on us is wrong. I didn't have a life of crime to fall back on when I got out. I have a college degree and can't find a decent job. It is one thing to punish people for their wrong doing. But, to ruin their life is not exceptable in my eyes. It takes more than a hot shower to get rid of - being held captivie. Eating food that is stamped on the box +FOR INMATE CONSUMPTION ONLY ! I can accept that I had to do time for my crime, but being labeled for the rest of my life is going to far! Society turns their head in regard to helping those in prison, until it happens to someone in their family it isn't going to matter to them one way or the other. Ignorance is bliss in this country.... shame isn't it?

alright so I'm gonna start with I'm a CNA I work at a nursing home . Recently I have been told that the residents are complaing about me and how immature I am. Can you be an actress if you have really bad "germ" ocd?

So here's the thing. I really love theatre and acting, and people tell me that I create strong characaters and that I'm good and stuff, that the only thing I really need to work on is my projection. Anyway, at my school (I'm in college BTW), They're having auditions for a play coming up. I was really excited about trying out, and then the director says that there is supposed to be a kissing scene and a bedroom scene. There's 2 problems with this. 1 is that I don't even know how to kiss cause I've never been, and 2, I have extremely bad ocd and an extreme irrational fear of germs and diseases. Especially infectious one's like HIV. This really upsets me because as much as I love acting and stuff, I'm beginning to think that maybe I'm not cut out for this or that I should think of something else to do. But I don't really know what else to do. I'm 20, and I have a lot of interests, but I feel that I'm best at theatre and acting. And it's a good release outlet for me as well. My question is, can actors/entertainers be germaphobes? I know howie mandel is. He's like my long lost twin or something, lol. I'm good at medical stuff and the human body but suck at math and science (I even wanted to be a pediatric allergist and immunologist at one time), lol. Try to get your cards down to 40 cards, 20 monsters and 20 magic/trap that lets you have a 50/50 shot of drawing magic/trap or monster which is generally a problem people have of drawing too many of either monsters or magic/traps. Try making a side deck with some of the cards here as well. Use cards in your deck that are universally helpful and cards in your side deck that will help with only specific decks (I keep Mystical Space Typhoon in a side deck) Just stuff to think about

Exercise for someone who is crippled?

My fiance has a bad back, bad knees, and can't do strenuous exercise without being in extreme pain. He's not fat or anything, I'd say average at the most. But lately he's been down emotionally and I've read that exercise is good for depression. For the past three weeks he's been working almost every day. At first I thought that that was awesome-- he likes his job and he's making more money. But he's in pain during the whole time he's there (lately he's been painting walls). Winn-Dixie was almost 2 y/o when we got Charlie as a baby. They are now almost 3 and 1.5 y/o. Until very recently, Winn-Dixie was the dominant cat. However, Charlie loves to play and seems to always be harring Winn. Not all the time, and not aggressively, but does harr him (usually playing hide & seek). My concern is this, Winn has lost lots of weight since Charlie became the dominant male. Winn doesn't look sick, there don't appear to be any changes in his eating/drinking patterns, he plays along with Charlie most of the time, and can easily get away from Charlie, if he wants (the house is 3,000+ sq ft). . . I don't know if it's because he's just getting bigger, but I'm afraid he's sick. Should I be worried? Or wait & see if other symptoms appear?

That's exactly what my boyfriend does. Lately he' been trying something different...He stays up all night to "fix" it, but instead of trying to sleep the next night, he'll go to sleep as soon as he feels tired in the afternoon, around 6. When he is able to do this (about half of the time) he wakes up fully naturally around 3 am. He does his thing, goes to work at 7, comes home around 12 and does whatever until he gets tired again. He can usually do this for an entire week until the weekend screws his schedule up again. Usually he can get back on it by staying up all night again.

I had this kid in my auto tech cl ask me why I was trying to be black after I told him I make rap beats for fun. I told him making beats doesn't make me black. He then tells me that it doesn't take any skill to make beats and that I should listen to bands like system of a down. I told him it does take skill. He told me it doesn't you don't even play instrument you just sample stuff. Which I couldn't argue I do sample but mainly as the chorus and give the verse parts a little more substance. But it's more than that I have to add drums to it sometimes using an mpc other times I'll play it out on real drums using a mic hooked up to a computer. I use a lot of synthesizer and piano so I play that out on my midi. But He just kept telling that I need listen to the bands he liked and played me one. How do you achieve a deep meditative state while remaining mindful?

Ive gotten particularly good at mindfulness meditation and im able to hold concentration whether it be while relaxing or walking around quite well. However i know that for proper trance type meditations im supposed to be able to remain mindful during deep states that border on sleep or at least have the same general brain functioning as sleep. However once i get to a certain point dreams start taking over and i cant help but become distracted and despite still being "conscious" im unable to focus on my mindfulness. My ultimate goal is to be able to reach REM states or the equivalent of in meditation while still mindful. I need adviceeee!

I was on the bus today, because unfortunately my car is being detailed. Well I was appalled by way most of the pengers on the bus presented themselves. The women were absolutely ghastly. You should see the cat scans and mris on this. It is amazing at the difference in brain activity and when you through emotion in there it is really fascinating. My fiance has no animal on his teeth and that makes them very weak. So his tooth was knocked out during surgery. What could we do to find out a price and way to replace it? Dentures? Flippers?

Why don't Christian women cover their hair when praying?

In the United States up until a very few years ago most women did cover the heads in public places, church included, and men uncovered theirs indoors, church included. Most persons wore hats when out of doors. Hats and head coverings of all sorts went out of fashion and fewer folks used them. Us British people losing their accents when they sing?

I never noticed it up until now, but it seems whenever I hum to myself, I seem to lose my accent and I have quite a heavy British accent. My friend, however, joined the secondary school chorus and I seemed to notice that she sang a bit differently. And after school, we both were singing to old Queen hits, such as Bohemian Rhapsody, she still sang in a peculiar tone. I'm still not sure why, I seem to lose my accent when I sing or hum to myself and she seems to not. Any ideas on why this might be?

I have crutches for a torn ACL and....?

my crutches rub agients the sides of my lungs next to my chest and near my bicep muscle. they are the correct heinght and i use my arm muscles, but they still rub help!? also, is there any kind of streches i can do before my ACL sugery? anyone have this sugery? im only 15.

What should you do when you can't afford to go to the dentist and you have an absess?

I am a 27 year old female who has one semester left in college before getting my B.S. in Zoology. Unfortuantely university doesn't provide dental care and I have had an absess for 3 years now. I have developed chronic headaches, fatigue, dizziness, loss of appetite and neck pain, and blurry vision for a few months now. I guess I am going to die because no one will help. I have the weirdest problem imaginable. My LOVE for my boyfriend (I LOVE him like crazy!!!) prevents me from getting excited ually. When he is just close to me, caresses me in ual way, I get sooooo overwhelmed by my feelings and emotions that I cannot respond by arousal. sounds like she may be a bit colic. I found out that my baby girl had colic, and I never would have thought about it because she wasn't a crier, just very very fussy. She would also stop fussing in the upright position or on her belly. Being on the belly helps take the pressure off the gas cramps they get with colic. Mine was exactly the same way and she did not have reflux. Common with reflux is crying during feedings and excessive vomiting.

Nice black dress shoes?

I'm searching for a nice pair of black dress shoes. I guess I need another pair of black heels. I tried on a bunch in TJ Maxx yesterday and couldn't find anything. The thing is, my coordination skills lead something to be desired. :) I'm a girly-girl and everything, but I can't walk in heels. But I need something to wear with my dresses. That's what we experience every day in school. They try to bring to televison something that we can relate with. Honestly, if you don't let your kids watch them they may just end up worse in the long run. Have faith in your children to do the right things.
