Subway suicide?

in new york, there are many subway deaths each year, but why do people get disgruntled by this hapening. i can understand being late, but think about the person who kills themselves. how desperate? how at the edge do thay have to be? people regard suicide as just another kinda thing, but if youve had to talk your friend out of it in the past (ahem) you realise that its not just "another thing". so why are people being so selfish and getting disgrunteled when theres a person tearing themselves apart, wanting to end everything? would you like to be in that situation? no you wouldnt. exactly.
